"A new dimension is getting its place between the vocal and the scenic works of Carles Santos: His graphic and poetic works (...) The works by Santos starting from these means are developed later than the rest of his artistic production, though  its importance grows more and more. Thus, if the first attempts made by Santos in graphic aspects are functional, beeing something like other works' edges, they obtain little by little an autonomy that makes them worthy for an independent treatement." La Polpa de Santa Percinia de Claviconia, made by Santos and MariaElena Roqué (whose work is decisive in most of Santos' projects, but still more in his graphic work), was initially conceived as a musical project destined to be called "Sinfonietta". They are ten color pictures, never oficially released. This black and white selection, far away from the originals, has been taken from the book "El caso Santos".


 Caligaverot is the name for this serie of one colour and four black & white pictures, also authored by Santos-Roque tandem that, inspired by Spanish Easter, were published in the magazine of literature "Quimera", in its issue of April, 1998. In this edition were printed only the four b&w pictures; the fifth has been obtained directly from Carles for this page. This is the original cross-like way of hanging the pictures at the exhibitions.
